2009 OUTLOOK
The Wiffle Ballers recorded the first No-Hitter
in league history, and it was against the defending Champion Jolly Wifflers. They routinely robbed home runs and threw
people out at first from hits down the third base line. Offensively, they were in a league of their own - scoring 11
more runs in the "regular season" than the second place team (for runs scored). They were able to outscore the best
defensive team in Mullany's Disciples for the Championship. And they did this without last year's batting champion -
their own Joey Joe Joe Junior Knooihuzen Shabadoo. It didn't matter, because they enlisted Rob Deutsch, the first HD Tourney winner of BOTH the batting
championship AND tourney MVP!!! This team has all the makings of the first HD Tourney dynasty. And Eric
ICE-E Carlson is laughing a sinister "revenge is awesome"-type laugh all the way to the record books. College can't
come soon enough.
