Founded: 2007 Founder: Tom Allenburg 2009 Record: 5-1-0 2009 Results & Excuses 2010 Outlook All Time Record: 11-6-0 For the second year in a row the Disciples made the Hume Division and Riverfront Field their dojo for serving life lessons in the wiffly arts.  An unfortunate encounter with a peaking Jolly Wiffler squad on unfamiliar turf in the playoffs was all that kept them from a second straight trip to the Championships.

	2009 RESULTS Opponent Result Field vs Bombers W: 5 - 1 Riverfront at On-Calls W: 3 - 0 Riverfront at Homeboys W: 3 - 0 Riverfront vs F'Donovan W: 8 - 3 Riverfront vs Jolly Wifflers* L: 2 - 11 Veterans vs On-Calls** W: 9 - 2 Riverfront Notes: * = Playoff Game ** = 3RD Place Game L: 6 - 8 Veterans 2009 EXCUSES Having played and won all their games on Riverfront Field, The Disciples were sent on their playoff game to Veterans Field - a field very familiar to the less deserving Jolly Wiffler squad.  Whether this was the result of play scheduling gone afoul, or foul play scheduling, is yet to be determined.  An investigation into the matter has been conveniently cancelled.   2010 OUTLOOK The Disciples will return a core pitching rotation that has been unmatched in tournament play.  But a major blow was dealt to their offense and their mojo in the offseason - Master Dave Jecha will be sent on a selfless mission to Los Cabo to examine the impact he could have on local liquor sales.  But inside sources indicate that the Disciples are talking to Jim Thome as a possible replacement for Master Jecha.  Having recently completed hitting home runs against every major league baseball team, Jim still has yet to hit a single home run at an HD Wiffle Tourney - the challenge could be too enticing to resist.  The return of Mike Grand Slam Munson is also a possibility. Another playoff run is inevitable.
