2009 OUTLOOK
After the 2007 Tourney, Mike Schultenover
fell into a deep depression until one day Master David N. Mullany appeared to him in a vision and spoke:
Master Mullany:
Pitch the ball. What do you hear? Young Schultenover: I hear the air, I hear the ground. Mullany: Do you
hear the whiff of your opponent? Schultenover: No. Mullany: Do you hear the pang of the strike zone? Schultenover:
Old man, how is it that you make these noises? Mullany: Young man, how is it that you do not?
Following that vision, Schultenover
trained like no other and truly became Master - one of the most formidable Pitchers in Wiffle Ball history. Combined
with the arm of Master Allenburg, the bat of Master Munson, and the ever-presence (on the base-path) of Master Jecha, Mullany's
Disciples look to be a team to be reckoned with in 2009.
