	2008 RESULTS Opponent Result Field vs Homeboys L: 1 - 8 Veterans at On-Calls W: 6 - 2 Veterans at Mullany's Disciples L: 0 - 1 Riverfront vs Pride of the Whifflers L: 0 - 3 Riverfront 2008 EXCUSES Aside from off-season injuries, the Bombers may have peaked too early having reportedly destroyed all of the IWBL All Star teams during a 2008 pre-season Midwest swing. Little ammunition was left as the Bombers ranked last in the tournament for runs scored. But whatever they didn't produce on offense, they more than compensated for in general offensiveness. 2009 OUTLOOK Z-Bomb has been keeping a low profile as of late, so scouting news from the Bombers camp has been scarce. Rumor has it that the Bombers' testing labs in Minot have shown signs of activity. HD Tourney officials were also able to get an exclusive sound clip from Z-Bomb's pep talk at a rare pre-tourney team meeting held a few weeks ago.
