UnBEARable! That is the synopsis of the 2014 Tourney! A ragged
bunch of PIONEERS, nearly shamed to wiffle infamy, matured to become great WIFFLE BALLERS, then fled their native lands
for fear of retribution. The mockery they endured for their flight reduced them to shells of their former selves
- sustained only by drinking shitty beer. This eventually hardened them, morphed them, made them GRIZZLY.
A primal call was unleashed. They traveled far and wide to return to their native home. And it was there they unleashed
the beast mode within. They mauled their wiffly prey. Only the GATORS stood in their way, but every silver
bullet that Taylor & company hurled at them was simply consumed. It wasn't silver these GRIZZLY MEN were
after - they wanted Wiffle Gold. By the end, their victory was so complete, there was no doubt that the Land of Hume
was now Bear Country!
For the 2nd consecutive time the MEISTERGATORS ruled their division and chomped through the playoff.
But once again they fell completely flat in the Championship. They have been outscored 18-0 in Championship games.
The lack of offense had Captain Scot Taylor wheeling and dealing in the off-season. Expect some controversial changes
on their roster for 2015.
Colony collapse disorder was apparently more extensive than previously thought, and The Killer B's met with
wiffly doom. Will frantic efforts to revive the hive over the summer bare honey in 2015?
The WICKED WiFLers, newcomers
to the fall classic anchored by a young HHHuuuuuuuuuummmmmeeee'n called Rowan, were nearly baptized in shame, as most newcomers
are. And if it wasn't for colony collapse disorder, the sting of that shame may have been too much for the youngsters
from Forest Lake. Will they brave another try? Still no word from Rowan HHHHHHUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmeeeeee.
The Sickness and Mullany's Disciples were playoff bound again, only to fall
short of Honor and Recognition. And unworthy of either, the Homeboys fell to Bull Schmidt in the coveted 5th place game.
