2007 Tournament Summary

The 2007 Hume-Donovan Wiffle Ball Tournament trumped last years tournament as the biggest and best. Eight teams were fielded in a new round-robin format that featured a HUME Division and a DONOVAN Division. The tournament culminated in a 4-game playoff that decided the 2007 Champion, the Recognized but not Honored, and the Utterly Shamed.

The 2007 Tournament saw the demise of two teams but the rise of three new teams - Mullany's Disciples, The On-Calls, and Pride of the Wifflers; and a re-furbished team - The Bombers. But this new influx of raw wiffly talent could not subdue the eventual onslaught of the Jolly Wifflers. Not even the defending champion F'Donovans, the New England Patriots of Wiffle Ball, could muster the arsenal required to stop the Jolly pillaging and plundering yo ho yo ho.
